Hello, I’m Mikey Mez, owner of Mez’s Barbershop. I’ve been cutting all hair textures for the past 6 years and recently made the exciting jump to opening my own space. Barbering isn’t just a career for me- it’s a passion that runs in my family. My grandfather and great-grandfather were barbers as well, and following in their footsteps is something that means a lot to me. You could say it’s in our blood. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where everyone can get a quality cut, feel comfortable, and leave the chair feeling confident. Outside of the shop, I’m a husband and proud dad of two. I’m a big sports fan- especially golf, football, and soccer. I also enjoy playing a wide range of video games, watching sci-fi movies, and staying up to date with pop culture.

Meet Josh — the right-hand man keeping things running at Mez’s Barbershop. He’s been cutting for 10+ years and has been part of the Willoughby barber scene since day one. Josh can handle any hair texture that sits in his chair and is known for being efficient, consistent, and locked in on every cut. He’s the beard guy around here… but if you come in asking for a scissor cut, you might just become his favorite client.
